Additive AI Technology for Building Methodological Tool Use Competencies in Sociology Students

In the age of digitalization, the need to increase the methodological competence of sociologists is becoming particularly relevant. Despite the growing penetration of artificial intelligence technologies into education, there is no experience of its systematic application with a view to forming the ability to use methodological tools in students of sociology, which creates a gap between traditional training and practical requirements for a modern specialist. The purpose of this study is to develop and test an additive technology that integrates artificial intelligence into the training of sociology students to build methodological tool use competencies. Empirical data was collected through a survey in which 41 sociology students participated, as well as a parallel experiment and a case study technique. The use of additive technology applying artificial intelligence provides the student with the opportunity to form methodological competencies of a higher level, and at the same time, helps optimize the process of developing a sociological research program. Thus, the technologically sound integration of artificial intelligence technology into the educational process can increase the effectiveness of learning. The results obtained in the course of the research served as the basis for the creation of an additive technology that overcomes the limitations of the traditional approach and provides a tool for integrating AI into the process of training sociologists.
