Radical Islam in modern Europe: anti-systems in the postmodern structure

Abstract

In the article, the authors consider the process of penetration of the religion of Islam into the countries of Western Europe, and investigate the reasons for the Islamization of Europe. The authors note that the process of Islamization of Europe, which began in the middle Ages, continues today. The Islamic factor continues to have a serious impact on the political, social, cultural and mental spheres of European society. Analysis of recent events in Western Europe related to attacks by Islamic terrorists leads the authors to the conclusion that in modern Europe there is a global anti-system in the face of international Islamic terrorism. Based on the research Of L. N. Gumilyov, V. M. Koryavtsev, V. L. Makhnach and others on the role of anti-systems in the spiritual and social life of society, the authors study the specifics of modern global anti-systems, as well as the relationship between the network structures of international Islamic terrorism and new global anti-systems.
