The article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of transformations of youth subcultural identity in the context of digital communications and network images of freedom. The author substantiates the thesis that in the conditions of total digitalization and change of generational paradigm, a fundamental transformation of the ontological foundations of youth subculture occurs: from classical forms of group identity to mosaic, multiple identity constructed in virtual space. Based on an interdisciplinary approach including actor-network theory, methodology of latent changes and philosophical anthropology, the paper reveals the specifics of generating images of virtual freedom in youth Internet communities. Special attention is paid to the ethical boundaries of network freedom and the problem of value disorientation of modern youth. The conclusion is drawn about the need to conceptualize a new model of subcultural identity centered on ethical imperatives and traditional values.
