T.S. Paniotova has made a significant contribution to the scientific understanding of the genesis and evolution of utopian discourse in Europe, Latin America and Russia. T.S. Paniotova's articles and translations allow us to explore the dialectics of the real and the fantastic, the imaginary and the real, the accidental and the natural in the utopias of the Renaissance and Modern times. The category of utopian imperative developed by her makes it possible to deconstruct the semantic core of classical and non-classical utopias. Of considerable scientific interest is also the concept proposed by her, which allows us to study the influence of reality on utopias and utopias on reality. In general, the collection of selected works by T.S. Paniotova may be of interest to anyone who is engaged in social and political philosophy, cultural studies, science, intellectual history and aesthetics. The general conclusion that arises after reading the materials of this collection is as follows: a better future is possible.
