Abstract

Based on the analysis of a wide range of sources, the article presents the author's position on the assessment of the qualities, consequences and risks for the national state sovereignty of Russia's entry into the processes of legal globalization. The authors build a logical chain of reasoning that includes a general description of the process of globalization, its legal dimension, and the definition of the corresponding positive and negative consequences on the basis of dialectical methodology. Conclusions are drawn about the correlation of the latter, their correlation and pronounced interdependence, taking into account the understanding of globalization as the main path of development of the modern world, indicating priorities and directly or indirectly determining the vectors of the evolution of national statehood. At the same time, the author's position is substantiated that the space for the functioning of public authorities can be deliberately limited in other countries by the leaders of the globalization process, who have the appropriate tools to impose their requirements on legislation. This can pose a significant problem for statehood as a whole, since membership in international organizations and participation in international treaties of various kinds may in the near future become a prerequisite for the existence in the world of globalization.
