Representation of Military Exploit and Valor in Historical Narratives of the 19th Century (Oral Folk Art)

The article is devoted to a little-studied topic – reflection in oral folklore of plots and motifs related to military exploits and valor. The main themes, such as heroism, sacrifice and moral dilemmas, which are touched upon in folklore works are considered. The examples illustrate how the personal experiences of heroes become the basis for historical folklore narratives, reflecting the inner conflicts of heroes and the struggle between good and evil.
