Abstract

The article is focused on the embodiment of the Orthodox idea of human God-likeness in the religious and philosophical experience of the academic tradition of the first half of the 19th century. The author analyzes the prerequisites for the origin and development of philosophical and anthropological problems of the idea of human God-likeness on the basis of the Russian theological academic school and explores the specifics of conceptual framework about the properties and content of this idea in the context of knowledge of the human soul. The paper also considers the influence exerted by of the religious and philosophical practice of cognition of the human soul on the formation of a special system of moral values in the Russian cultural tradition. The study shows that the Orthodox idea of human God-likeness occupied a special place in the system of religious and philosophical knowledge of Russian academic philosophy and had a significant impact on the development of anthropological experience in the cultural tradition. Further research into the problem will expand modern understanding of the influence of the idea of human Godlike nature on the formation of the Russian religious, philosophical and cultural tradition.
