Anti-Terrorist Support of National Interests of the Russian Federation as a Function of the State: Contours, Frontiers, Synchronization

The paper presents the results of the study aimed at developing new approaches to protecting national interests and the population's identity. The author reveals public and legal issues of counterterrorism activities and suggests recommendations for their optimization. The specifics of legal technique and public administration in the area under study are explored. The paper highlights areas for comprehensive monitoring and legal forecasting and compares the system under consideration with the anti-extremist one. Optimal areas for international cooperation and socio-political interaction are identified. The author examines the scientific support for countering terrorism and extremism, including information and analytical activities, as well as practical orientation. Explanations on the balance of legal relations and typical models are provided, and the essence of radicalism, extremism, and terrorism is assessed. The study reflects the characteristics of vector, offensive, and pragmatic approaches. Organizational and legal risks associated with the implementation of the system under development, as well as other positive and negative factors, are explored.
