Abstract

The paper shows that the perception of Russian philosophy as an original one, both in domestic philosophical discourse and outside of Russia, is related to the need to accept a wide range of forms through which philosophy exists in our country. The desire of Russian philosophers to escape the narrow circle of national culture was often expressed through literature and was perceived from the outside as the absence of philosophy in Russia. The projective, practical nature of Russian philosophy, most clearly expressed in N.F. Fedorov, was often perceived not as philosophical, but rather as a near-scientific utopian project. The article concludes that there are various forms of expression of deep Russian philosophy that carry the image of a man who strives to bring the fullness of truth to all spheres of his life and creativity – the man of Russia.
