Abstract

The article discusses the features of the Hegelian concept of mind and reason in the work «Phenomenology of the spirit», in particular, in comparison with the measurement of the content of these categories, which is presented in the «Science of Logic». In the «Phenomenology of the Spirit», the categories «reason» and «mind» play a slightly different role than in the «Science of Logic», since they are considered not as simultaneous moments of self-movement of thinking, but as necessary formations of the spirit (including the stage of self-consciousness) on the path to mastering the latter by itself as a full truth of being.
