Abstract

The review provides an analysis of the main sections of the monograph. Some theses are analyzed and criticized. The concepts of "sports" and "near-sports" fanaticism are separated. An average anthropological and social portrait of a sports fan is proposed. The conclusion is made about the need for research in the field of studying the phenomenon of sports fanaticism.
